A Cycle Tour of the Moroccan High Atlas. Overall Distance: 413 Miles.

In November 2016, I travelled to Marrakech, hoping to undertake a circular route through the High Atlas mountains. I started by leaving Marrakech to the south, climbing over the 2000m Tizi n Test pass before descending onto the Anti-Atlas plateau. I continued east to the Moroccan film-making capital of Ouarzazate before climbing through the stunning Ounila Valley, up over the 2100m Tizi n Tichka pass, and back to Marrakech. It was only an 8 day tour but the sensational landscape and fascinating culture made it a highly memorable one.
